http://www.youtube.com/user/72Crabadams Me rambling about my journey : )
Don't be jealous, it has everything to do with the fact that I act very quickly to take it off. If I wait to take if off, it seems to not want to go anywhere, but when I take it off soon after it arrives, it goes fast too. I think it mostly was water weight. The problem was in my eating, that had to get cleaned up before there was a much bigger problem.
Definitely the dropping fast along with trips to the bathroom and feeling cold sound like you were just dealing with some extra water. From someone that swings several lbs up & down a day, I have a lot of experience with water retention.. still messes with you, but much easier to be rid of! Glad you are back in the black!
I find that if I don't deal with the water thing early, the dynamics of loss seem to change. If I wait even a few weeks to deal with it, it becomes much harder to get off of me. ThinLizzy experienced the same thing around the fourth year. She gained just a little bit, about seven pounds, but didn't address it right away. It then took her a few YEARS to deal it. I find that this dynamic holds true for me as well. Have to just take it off as soon as I notice that it's out of my normal comfort zone.
Trust me, I get it! I am dealing with real gain- and water weight too. I prob gained 5-6lbs real pounds from vacation eating/drinking, holiday indulgences and such- along with only getting to work out 2x in December. The fast drops/gains overnight tells me some of this is water- the fact that I am over my range still by 3.5lbs-ish tells me, some is real. Either way- they both make my jeans feel snug, so it must go.
