Daily Maintenance Weigh In - TGIF 12/28
And another snowstorm is on the way tomorrow, hooray.
Today's weight: 134.8
This evening we will go dashing through the snow to order my new bike, then to Old Navy to get some shirts for Spring. The skin on my upper arms is pretty bad and Old Navy usually has a good selection of light weight 3/4 and long sleeve shirts that they consider Fall/Winter shirts but for me are great for Spring/Summer. I couldn't wear their shirts in the winter because the fabrics are so light. I'd freeze!
No weekend plans except to curl up with a good book and watch the snow through the window. I've loaded Les Miserables on my Kindle; at 1700+ pages, that should keep me busy for a while. Can't decide between that and a non-fiction book called Far From the Tree. We'll see.
Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012
No Weight Today - Forced Weighing Holiday. The battery in my scale went dead.
Id go with Les Mis! Always a favorite of mine, even if it can be dense in places.
I went to see the movie on Christmas with Thomas. Its an operetta really instead of a musical. It was Ecstatic! The cinematography was just incredible - a lot of short focus tight closeups on the actors while performing. The live performances were really an unbelievable insight - especially in Anne Hathaway's scenes. The weakest singer was Russell Crowe, but it honestly worked for Javert.
Have a nice, relaxing day.

http://www.youtube.com/user/72Crabadams Me rambling about my journey : )
Didn't get an accurate weight today. It was 179.5, but I weighed with my clothes on and after I had coffee and then ate. Rob, my battery is dying, so I need to get one soon or I won't be able to weigh either.
We got back last night after driving for more than 4 1/2 hours through pouring rain, then a mix, then all snow. It was great to get home though! The past couple of days were really hard, but I survived them. I did get to see friends and family, some of whom I haven't seen since I was a teenager, and that was wonderful. Today was a day for fun and getting refreshed. We all went snowtubing. I'd never been before and what a blast!! I couldn't go 2 years ago, as I was too large, and last year, the place was closed due to the owner being injured. So today I took the plunge and now I'm hooked!
Enjoy your book Mom!
