138.7 same as yesterday, which is fine.
Woke to some heavy news, my good friend of 16+ years is in the hospital, getting staged for ovarian cancer, just discovered.. they think stage 3, but won't know till surgery Monday. She's been in for adhesion clean-outs so many times in the last few years her belly looks like a connect-the-dots, endometriosis, ectopic preg (lost that ovary) and they never caught it?!? She had RNY almost 2 years ago and was settling into life again after dealing with multiple complications of that surgery, just got a management job at the humane society.. I am heartbroken right now and there's nothing I can do about it.
I am going to see her today if she wants company.
