I just made some steak for lunch and think I may have died and gone to heaven. Yay! I can eat meat again!

The only thing is that I have no idea how to track calories, fat and protein in steak. Anyone have any idea? It's "top blade" steak. I just need a ballpark figure per ounce of steak in general.

Awesome. Not as much fat as I thought. I get a lot of my fat from peanut butter already. ;)

This is a hybrid of a cheesecake recipe given to me..i just added the pumpkin and spices and one extra scoop of powder. It's spicy, so if you dont love cloves or cinnamon, use half of what I did.

1 box sf ff cheesecake pudding mix
2 cups ff cottage cheese (blended smooth in the food processor)
3 scoops unflavored protein powder
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup pourable Splenda
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Total: 720 cals/104g prot/62g carb/6g fat
-or-
approx. 1/2 cup = 103 cals/15g prot/9g carb/1g fat

YAY...I'm so happy for you!!!  Embrace the bovine.....next, hug the pigs...They're all so tasty and delish!

Your steak must have been succulent!

When I see cows in the pasture...I see them as muscle group and cuts of meat....

What I see...
