I think the evening primrose oil and SJW would be very helpful for you to take while you are waiting for your supplements.  Also the exercise is a great idea.

But if you don't like formal exercise and don't want to leave the house, why not just play some loud energetic music and dance around the house?  HUGS to you...

Hi There,

I had another bad day yesterday, pissed of our new business partners, because they are trying to make changes that we don't agree with...

Pissed off hubby because I chatted with both of them by Instant Message, instead of in person.

Then I got pissed of because everyone does not understand me :0

Went for my walk to burn the anger and frustration off...  just got going and feeling a bit better with my soothing M&M' s in hand...and...

A drunk local that we have known for years calls me over and proceeds to tell me he has wanted to tell me I am not the same as I used to be.  I am sexy and beautiful, and he wants to be with me...  (in every way).  He knows my hubby very well...

I crawled home back into my cave, continued to fight and make up with hubby and get on with our day...  Decide hubby can't be everything for me, and he just wants a calm happy home.  We decide I will find someone to talk to through all this crap.  I think this is progress...

Crap I feel like I am going to completely go off the deep end.

Hugs and thanks honey,

How about some therapy to deal with the raging emotions?

Also, "natural" drugs are still drugs. Sometime they work better than manufactured drugs, but sometimes they don't. Sometimes they are less dangerous than the prescription stuff but sometimes they are MORE because some natural supplements are actually pretty freaking dangerous.

So we have to experiment and sometimes what works is what's natural but sometimes it's not or a combo works.

I know I was doing nuts trying to heal my injury without taking NSAIDs or other drugs and after dealing with back spasms for two whole weeks I just said "f-that" and took some muscle relaxers and my back stopped spasmming immediately. As for the NSAIDS, I found at a certain pain level, ice worked better than drugs but at a higher pain level, only NSAIDs worked. So I worked out a routine that included both modalities.

Yep therapy is where I am headed next...

Not sure what it is going to look like though, it can't be with a Belizean, they are a different culture with different views and values...

I am going to have to figure out what I can do from down here...  it will be challenging, but perhaps it will be by phone or Instant Messaging, I will start the process of finding someone to talk to.

I am disappointed to hear about the possible effects of the natural drugs, but I have to try, I have come this far, if all else fails I can go back on the Fluoxetine, I lived a better quality of life than any other time since I was a teenager...  it just left me foggy... but perhaps an even lower dose than I was on would work...

I am goiing to try this program for 90 Days to get my hormones back in order, and find some therapy and see if that will work.

Thanks Mac!

Maybe you can use the natural stuff to lower your fluoxetine dose if you can't totally eliminate it.

Some of the natural stuff is pretty mild and relatively harmless. I take melatonin to help me sleep sometimes, for example. But some of it is just as tricky as drugs they make the lab. Just read up on the side-effects of anything you take and be watchful.

St. John's Wort, for example, is one that you need to be careful of. It has a bunch of interesting side-effects -- like increasing your chance of getting sunburn and possible liver issues -- and there are a bunch of things you shouldn't take if you are taking it -- including alcohol! It also interferes with the absorption of iron and with certain forms of birth control. It's a MAOI so it has a lot of the same contraindications and side-effects as the prescription MAOIs.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't take it, of course, but you need to read up on the risks and benefits and decide if it's worth it to you. Just like with any drug.
