Want to see how my new Mainteance For Life Plan is going?
Hey Folks,
I post daily on Sleevin' & Achievin', and right now I am working on a 14 Day Trial of Maintenance for Life (just something I made up to try to see if I could maintain)
I basically eat the same as I did when i was losing. Except I have brought in a Flour Tortilla & M&M's... then depending what my weight is doing, I bring in healthy snacks like Almonds, Raisins and Peanut Butter...
I am tracking it for 14 Days, do you want me to post it here daily until I am done?
Here is where I am at so far:
Goal- Maintain between 140 - 145 lbs
Starting Weight for Life Long Maintenance Plan - 144.6 lbs
Today's Weight - 141.6 lbs
Life Long Maintenance Plan Goals: Day 4 of 14
- M,W,F,Su - Plan 1 - Net - 886 - 1236 Calories - higher number lately
- Tu,Th,Sa - Plan 2 - Net 892.50 - 1242.50 Calories - higher number lately
- My Maintenance Plan is very similar to my Weight Loss Plan, except it now includes a flour tortilla and M&M Peanuts (which I will adjust if I start gaining)
- Walk 4 miles per day, burn 400 calories -
- Get in all Water & Vitamins -
Starting Weight - 142.4 Snacks: PB, Raisins - Stayed on Plan
After Day 1 - 142.8 (Gained) Snacks: PB, Raisin - Stayed on Plan
After Day 2 - 142 ( Lost) Snacks: PB - Stayed on Plan
After Day 3 - 141.6 (Lost) Snacks: PB, PB - Stayed on Plan
After Day 4 -
Random Thoughs:
- Ok another successful day, it seems I 'need' & 'want' those snacks... had PB again twice, hope I don't regret it when I weigh... Still need to pick up those Almonds, we don't have any on Caye Caulker, have to order them or go over to Ambergris to pick them up.... sigh... no time...
- Well I weighed and I lost again!! I think I can safely have my snacks!! It seems I am going to lose weather I have them or not, so I am going to allow myself 1-2 snacks a day and see what happens... I can always pull back again.

I am not sure I understand the question, but I will try...
Over at Sleevin' & Achievin' you can post anything you want, from one simple goal, to all goals and food tracking etc...
However, you may also want to know what I personally am eating on my maintenance plan, so here it is:
Before Breakfast - Herbal Tea
Breakfast - Alternate between:
1. 2 Fried Eggs and Cream Cheese
2. 1/3 c rolled oats, 1/4 c of raisins and 3/4 c LF milk
Water
Snack : lately I have not needed this snack, but it would be almonds, raisins or PB
Water
Lunch: Cabbage Salad loaded with protein, like fish or meat and cheese, with dressing, and a flour tortilla
Water
On my walk: Peanut M&M;s
Water
Dinner - a feed of fish or meat and a SF Pudding cup
Water
Before Bed Snack - almonds, raisins or PB
Middle of the night snack - almonds, raisins or PB
Water
AND it seems to be working... I am thrilled so far.

Great to see you also!! I only lasted 7 Days and then got bored...
It is still bascially what I am doing, but I go off and on it... and don't track my calories...
I seem to be maintaining ok, and I will adjust as I go.... I just did not know where to start, so it gave me something to play with until I knew what my body needed to maintain.
