Happiness

I am so happy these days , it is not only the weight loss , it is just feeling better physically and emotionally.  I am 2 months out and through the whole process i have lost 33 lbs.  I am approaching being under 200 lbs.  I cant remember the last time that happened, it is very emotional for me to think about , i know that sounds crazy but until now it has only been a dream .  I truly feel in many ways, lapband surgery has saved my life.  I can feel myself becoming more confident , i dont want to hide at home anymore , i want to get out and enjoy life and meet new people .  It is the best decision i have ever made , and i hope i can help others as you  and Dr Gornichec have helped me .

Whoops, I missed some days blogging.

It has been a crazy day for me.  As a lot of you know I am at the Edge Church and it's time to do tax stuff.  YEAH!  I am really excited about it.  I love the challenge of getting it done before anyone expects it to be done.  I am on a roll.  But, at the same time...I updated to Quick Books 2008 last week and it seems like everything went down hill from there.  First off, I do not like using Quick Books.  It is one of the worst programs out there.  I need to find a different program to use.  So, I spent quite some time getting things straightened out.

Anyway, I was extremely tired tonight.  I was suppose to have band practice tonight.  Dan went but the girls and I decided to stay home and take it easy.  As some of you may know, my husband Dan plays bagpipes and I play the rhythm tenor drum for the Oklahoma Scottish Pipes and Drums.  It is one of the greatest and most fun things I've done in years.

So, that's it for my blog today.

Okay...me being the impatient creature that I am...I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for someone other than me to post on this new group board.

I have to post about me and my crazy doings yesterday.  I went up to Chesapeake Energy yesterday to work out and tan.  I should have proceeded with caution on the tanning.  For one thing...I am white as a ghost.  Also...they had just changed out the bulbs in the stand up bed.  My back and the back of my legs are quite toasty today.  I just keep moisturizing to help the burn.

Oh, something else about me...I'm back to being a blonde again.  For those who have seen me at the last several support group meetings at Integris I had gone dark brown.  I can't tell you how many processes I've done to get my hair back blonde (I'm surprised that I've got hair left) but I finally got my true blonde hair back.  What a relief.  I really do believe that blondes have more fun.

Hope you are having an awesome Saturday!

How exciting that Obesity Help has added this new feature for leaders.  I love anytime of group anything online.  YEAH OH!

So here I am...almost 15 months post op from having the Lap Band surgery.  I am 85 pounds lighter than when I began.

There are so many things that I have accomplished since October 12, 2006.  It blows me away first off that I am this far out.  It seems just like yesterday.  I have zero regrets.  I want to say that again...I HAVE ZERO REGRETS!!!  This is the greatest gift in my life that I have ever received.  Sometimes I think that I wish I would have had it a long time ago...but...I had to be FAT several times in order to appreciate this.

I'm looking forward to losing another 15 to 20 pounds.  We'll see what my body does and go from there.

Happy 2008!
