"The Lighter Side" was developed in November of 2009.  We started with 3 members and currently have nearly 20 members.  We meet physically the first Thursday of each month.  Beginning Fall of 2011, we will be meeting two times each month.

Between meetings, I, as the Support Group Leader, contact members via email and text throughout the month with various messages of support, etc.  Another member also emails the entire group inspirational messages throughout the month. 

At our monthly meetings, we have guest speakers, a clothing exchange, sample products, fun drawings and lots of helpful discussions.
