Hello everyone!

I had RNY on 10/11/01 back in Pittsburgh. I'm now out in L.A. and have regained a significant amount of weight. I'm thinking I may need a revision. Are there any patients of Dr. Quilici that have had a revision? Also, what is the process, what can I expect? Any information will be helpful.

Topic: anyone had the sleeve gastrectomy??

hello, anyone here going through an appeal??? i am trying to get the sleeve approved but insurance still considers it experimental/investigational, some companies are starting to approve and do the sleeve so i am hoping that this will change soon, and that they will approve this for me. so hi, what is up?? how do you like your surgeon, I've only met him once,

I don't know if this is a group specifically meant for patients of Dr. Quilici or not, but I am not one. I also could not find a group in my area.

So, I created an LA WLS group for anyone to join. Feel free to come on over and maybe we can get little groups together in our locations :)

Hi everyone I live in Sherman Oaks and wanted to know if any of you would be interested getting together for volleyball once a week at a local park?... I not very good but it could be fun and another way to get the fitness we need... If anyone is interested please let me know...

Hi there!!! I just had my RNY on 6/19/09 at Cedars and I'm sooo tired all the time.

It's been 2 weeks and I've been eating all my protein, drinking my water, getting my walking in, and I've still only lost 4 lbs since the surgery. *Sigh.*

How's everyone else doing?

Hi Keren, Congrats!! Hope all went well for you.
I'm Robin, had RYN on Feb 10, 2009 at UCLA and had the best surgeon (in my opinion)and I'm doing great. I'm down 49 pounds (and 4 sizes), feeling good and blessed to have this opportunity for a new start in life. I've been looking for a local support group for a while now...and it seems there are none in the west San Fernando Valley. I'm hoping to connect with people to have the support through this journey.
Best of Luck to Everyone...and please lets get this group motivated and talking...I need as much inspirational support I can get!!
