Welcome to the other side or losers' side as it is! :) I hope your procedure went well and cannot wait to hear about it!
for me the 3rd night into the 4th day was the worst and then it got to be pretty normal. You don't want to cheat...you are doing this for a reason...to prepare your body for the surgery and to prepare you for after... I thought I was in pretty good shape...It is a big deal. I had a lot a nausea...I even threw up during my post sleeve check x-ray...I'm home now and doing better but I would not have wanted to mess with anything going in...jmho
Ok so today was and is my first day on this pre-op liquid diet and can I tell you I could take an ice cream cone from a kid right now...LOL! Part of me says to just go ahead and cheat but there's apart of me that that wants to fight. I'm concerned that I'll be able to actually make all the way until 9/29/14. I know many have gone through the same feelings I have...please share with me how you made it through...I'M STARVING!!!!
Hang in there everyone! I hear it gets better!
I will ill be going for my surgery on the 24th. Been giving up caffeine and carbonated drinks in preparation, but for some reason I don't have to do a liquid diet till the day before. Different strokes for different surgeons?
Together we can do this! Alisa.

If this is what it felel like giving birth no thanks. Trying not to take the pan meds but i think i will cave in and take a few.
Really glad to hear you've come through well. Helps manage my pre-op nerves - tomorrow's the big day and I'm not looking forward to pain or nausea or difficulty swallowing initially. But I know we'll all get through it.
