Hi, I am 5 weeks post op as of today. I also had to have a EGD today and they found Ulcerated gastrojejunal anastomosis and removed two staples. Has anyone heard of this?

Greetings all and Happy New Year 
Well a new year is upon us and we all have done so AWESOME losing or maintaining our weights lets keep it going. I am still 52 pounds away from my goal (2 pounds away from my 1st major goal) and I want to be there by mid this year.
I have a questions for everyone...... My wife gave me a membership to 24 Hour Fitness and would like to know if anyone would consider a group workout effort once or twice a week. I will be going 3 times a week (more if I can get by with it) and can do one or two nights on those days. Would ber an AWESOME way to motivate and support each other. Besides, it stinks working out alone. If you are in the Inland Empire (or semi close) there wouldnt be an issue to travel to other clubs for me........Let me know

Topic: Swine Flu and Morbid Obesity....Must read
I posted this on the California Forum and I figured I would put it here as well. I heard this story on the news today and was shocked about the study. They say that Obese and Morbidly Obese people are at risk with the swine flu.

There are a lot of good people in the High Desert area. I know they have a meeting before the meeting up there every month and please dont be afraid to return. Dr. Suh was my surgeon and is a great doctor. His staff are top notch and would have no problem you being there I believe.
Join us all on the California Forum. Bunch of great people there and several are Lap Banders and would be great support as well.

Thanks for starting this group. I live in Victorville but havent ventured over to the California boards since my surgery. I had lapband in March of this year, and would really love to have a local support system. I usually frequent the lapband boards. My surgeon is in Burbank so unfortunately I do not attend his support group. I did attend a meeting of Dr. Suh's here in the desert before my surgery but have so far not worked up the nerve to return. I look forward to meeting some locals.
