So time has flown by and I officially start my preop liquid diet today. I binged last night and now feel sick but Im so ready for my surgery. I bought all the things for the diet. Feel free to check in to make sure Im still alive LOL It is going to be a struggle as I am one to pop things in my mouth without realizing. I know I can do it so we will see!

Good luck girl! Just take it one day at a time - one hour at a time if need be - this is so hard. Try sugar-free gum to keep your mouth busy.

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.

Just keep at it! I was lucky and didn't have a pre-op diet. I don't think I would have been a happy camper!
