Congrats!  I'm not to that stage yet, but I think if the surgery has worked this well for you then you'll probably need to go into the same maintenance stage as non-cysters.

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.

It's quite common to think you're not going to stop loosing and that you're going to loose too much weight at this point after the RNY but relax...you're weight loss will begin to taper down and if you feel that you've lost too much weight by the 18m mark you should experience a slight regain at around 2y out to get to a healthy weight and then if you continue to eat well you'll maintain that weight.  I've seen it happen MANY times with my friends who've had surgery and are now at the 5-6 year mark at a healthy weight.

I know for me I lost 100lb in 6 months and with 114lb to loose I was worried that I was going to loose too much weight.  However at 7m post op my weight loss came to a complete halt for 2 months.  I then started to loose weight again but at a MUCH slower pace and then lost the additional 14lb during post op months 9-12.

If you're really concerned about loosing too much weight begin to introduce (if you've not already) carbs and slowly add carbs until your weight loss stabilizes.

Congrats on your weight loss so far!

Good Job! I had my rny in april 07, I went down to about 140 then last year started to creep back up.  I had to go out on disability last year (not related to wls or pcos) and honestly I was terrified that being at home I was going to start really packin it on, but actually the opposite happened and I lost 20 lbs and am back down to between 135-138. You can continue to lose if that is what you and your body need.
