Are you happy with where your weight is now?  No - and I'm afraid to see my doctor at my next visit - he wants 3-4 lbs a week, and I've averaged 1 lb a week.

Just had my insulin resistance test today.  If I'm IR, then at least I understand where my challenge is...if I'm not IR...then I'm just not that big of a loser I guess :)

Happy Friday everyone!  Sorry I don't post more often - I'm an every few days kinda poster.  :)

Your heavy-est: 324
how much you weighed at surgery: 313
how much you weigh now: 250
goal weight: 150
Are you happy with where your weight is now? For my stage, YES!  Do I wish I could be at my goal weight yesterday?  YES!  :)  I'm inpatient but I know I've been very fortunate with great loss so far.

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.

Hi everyone!

My heavy-est:  321
Current weight:  313  (surgery is scheduled for March 24th, I start 4 weeks of Optifast on 2/26.)
Goal weight: 150  (honestly, just excited to be under 200 again.)
So NOT happy with my weight now, but it's going to get better really soon!

3/24/10 - 297 lbs the day of surgery

My heaviest:  254
how much I weighed at surgery: 246
how much I weigh now: 156
goal weight: 140
Am I happy with where my weight is now? Yes and no. Yes in that at 5.5 years post op and after 2 babies I'm still nearly 100lb lost.  Yes in that my tool still works as I've lost 10lb since November (not as easy to do at 5+ years out).  No in that I want to be back at goal...not only do I feel the 16lb difference on my joints but it's also reflecting in my blood pressure.  I'd have to say that I'm 90% happy with where I am right now.

Your heavy-est: 283ish
how much you weighed at surgery: 270.5
how much you weigh now: 237
goal weight: I don't really have a goal weight yet. My surgeon didn't set one and I'm just looking forward to being under 200.
Are you happy with where your weight is now? Not so much. I am also impatient and just want it all gone now! At the moment I'm kinda frustrated since the scale isn't moving as fast as I would like it considering I lost the first 20lbs within the first 2 weeks thanks to some nasty dehydration.
