The week before surgery I was crazy, very crazy! lol. In fact the liquid diet had me nuts I think. 2 weeks no food! So I ate the day before, and was so scared he wouldn't operate. When I woke up I felt great, like I was given a new chance at life! I was very happy about my decision, sad to say that feeling didn't last long..

Yay for you! Soon! Soon! SOON you will be on the losers side! From here on out for a month or so for me it was like a roller coaster! SO hang on for the ride of your life!

Trust me when I tell you that all that "crazy" that is going on... it's SO worth it! I am a little over a month out and I still have days when I get frustrated and sad about the things I long for. (like just a normal meal without having to "think" about what to eat, or how slow to chew and when can I drink and have I had enough protein?) LOL... it is overwhelming.

BUT... there is NOTHING BETTER than waking up and stepping on that scale and seeing the changes. It puts a smile on my face and in my heart. Just be patient with yourself honey! You can do this and you will get through the tough stuff!

Crying will happen, but remember to pick yourself back up, count your blessings and put a positive message in your heart! We are in this together!
