Hi Teresa ...... I joined
Greetings all. I was diagnose with PCOS January 2001. I had to ask for all the tests to figure it out. Went back and the OB said yup you've got PCOS, then sent me home with not even a bloody pamphlet!!! I was Pissed off to say the least. My symptoms were absolutley classic. I should have been diagnosed YEARS before that. I worked to get over the anger (still a little there though) and tried to do something positive, so I began to educate myself.
I am now almost three years out from RNY and for the first time in my life I am having regular periods, and many of my symptoms are under control.
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning from everyone.
