Unfortunalty Mood swings are one of our symproms. When I did my research I found that Vitamin B is very helpful for us. I now take High doses of Vitamin B

AM:

B1- 100mg

B2- 100mg

B12 1000mcg

PM

B6 - 100 mg

B12 - 1000mg

B50Complex

I have also found that ginseng helps for mood and energy. The trick with Ginseng though, it has to have a smell to it before it works.

I don't have to take anti-deppressants anymore,  which I actually stopped well before my wls.

Mood swings, never- NOT!

I have PCOS, progesterone is low, issues with depression and a vitamin D deficiency!
I have mood swings but they are well maintained now that I have added lots of D3 to my antidepressants.

I also had an IUD placed in October so that I would not have a surprise baby during our life change. The progesterone has helped too!

I didnt have too many mood swings before. I have noticed since surgery, it gets worse, almost weekly.
Coming here to these PCOS groups and seeing what other people say though, I dont feel so alone! It really sucks being in pain, and being so moody, but its nice to have someone who understands..
