COOK BOOK
For those of you who weren't at the meeting, we dicussed making a cookbook to be finished at Christmas time. If you have a good wls friendly recipe please post it here or at the [email protected] so we can put it in the cookbook. State your name and city this will be fun and helpful to us all. You can post as many as you like.
That is a great idea. How will we go about getting the cook book when it is done? I keep wanting to come to a meeting but keep forgetting. Anyway here is my recipe:
SF peanut butter cookies.
1 cup peanut butter (I use the 1/3 less sugar Jif to further reduce sugar and calories.)
1 cup splenda
1 egg
Mix all three ingredients and then place dough by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minues at 350 degrees. Voila you have a quick, easy way to satisfy the sweet tooth that has a good amount of protein and low sugar. Not too bad on calories either, especially if you are like me and can only eat one before it being filling. (These are pretty heavy on the stomach and can be a meal.)
