1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese 1 green onion chopped fine or use the dry bottled spice chive onion
1-2 tbs lowfat milk salt and pepper and I added a little margarine. Put all this in blender til smooth.

Bake your small potato or microwave or boil, remove skin then mash up and pour above mixture on top. I love baked potato's and this is like having one with sour cream on top. Has 19 grams protein.

3/4 cup cottage cheese 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce or marinara 1/4 tsp oregano and 1/4 tsp basil
2 egg whites. Mix together and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. This reminds me of lasagna. Flavor is good, but is mushy so goes down good. Has 28 grams of protein.

I could only eat half of each of the above so I save the other half for later because then I have a syntax nectar protein shake with skim milk and 1/3 cup of powdered milk which gives you 39 grams of protein, that way I am getting enough, in between I like a little crunch so I tried these fiber crackers the nutritionist told us about.

I thought head hunger was gone, but it rouses it's ugly head still and makes you feel like you need to eat when your not hungry or anything. I wish I could kill it, but it is part of reason why I'm here I need help am powerless to this and must admit I can not control it and with god, this surgery, supportive ppl I meet, support groups, mentors, and physician's help I can get through it and battle it and be victorious. One day at a time.
I can do it, I can do it, chugga, chugga, chugga said the little train! Thank you Lord for giving me the strength!

It is really good & goes down real easy. I am doing well, I am finding it getting a little easier to get protein in without shakes. I got really tired of them after surgery and was basically choking them down. Trying different foods with high protein is great. I have been making chili now and can tolerate well. I make with turkey burger which is ground very fine or burger which I grind finer once it is cooked as it goes down better that way. I had a very tiny chicken thigh for dinner tonight. Had no room left after eating it for the cauliflower we made to go with so I am going to have some for snack tonight as I love cauliflower and have not had any in ages. It is very mushy so I don't think it will give me any trouble and I have done a little cooked broccoli & it went down okay. I am amazed at how little we can eat. So weird, I get overwhelmed when  to look at a normal persons plate of food, it looks like so much food. I have eaten too fast a couple of times so was able to eat a little too much. It was weird I got all sweaty and felt really weird and uncomfortable. So I learned an important lesson and know to slow down and when to stop to avoid that feeling. I went to a WLS support group at my surgeons office and thought I might try once a week, but I am only going to be abe to make the group once a month. It is more than 20 miles away so I think I am going to talk to them about getting one going close by my house so I can go more often and not have to drive so far. If it is more convenient then I will go more often and will be nice to maybe meet people who live near me and bond so maybe we can help each other out away from the group. We will see as their groups are lead by behaviorists and not sure how they will feel about starting one away from their office, but I think it is a good idea. Hope you are well, looks like you are doing well with your weight loss. Keep up the good work and keep in touch.
