Pre-op Liquid Diet: Day 5

Well I have almost survived the July 4th holiday without cheating. I had lunch with my family at the in-laws and my 3 1/2 didn't quite understand why I wasn't eating a burger with him. I will admit it was tempting to just eat some of the meat, but I overcame and I am still alive. I really want to be in the best shape possible for my surgery, so my recovery will go well. It is a daily challenge, but I am tougher than food and determined to be healthy.
