The US board members all talk about these and when i looked them up online, they do seem good - very all-inclusive vits and minerals. Anyone come across a UK equivalent?

Because of my band i have to take chewable or effervesent things. I get Boots own brand and that is fine but involves several tabs! The BA ones seem to do it all!

If I were 30 years younger (OK so the problem probably wouldn't be as great anyway!), I would have (in order of importance to me):

tummy tuck., bottom lift, batwings removed, thighs reshaped.

But I won't! DH doesn't mind my folds and flaps and I don't care enough about other people to worry!  Actually, change that - my arms are the part fo me that I hate most as they are shown most often and (to my eyes) ruin lovely summer dresses and tops.

Hi Kate

no I can't imagine the NHS paying either, especially as they veyr rarely pay for the intial wls in the first place!!!

I know what you mean about the kitchen scissors - been there, done that (well not actually done it, but have really wanted to!!!) LOL.

I'm not!! But I hear that more people are getting this done on the NHS.

By the way, if you did pay yourself, did you know that if we need anything doing (complications etc, not basic lapband fills), the NHS will do it as it is now an existing condition!

So I get my annual barium swallow check done on the NHS. They send a copy to my GP and he sends it on to my (private) band surgeon! But if anything were to come up as a  problem, my band surgeon says he would do it for me on the NHS!!

Topic: Skellig
For those of you interested, did anyone else see Skellig?

I enjoyed it, but then again I'm a fantasy fan.  Hubbie says he didn't enjoy it but managed to sit and watch it through!  It was strange seeing Sam Tyler from Life on Mars in it as the Dad, but I got used to it quickly.

It was full of symbolism which I haven't worked out much of yet, what was with the spiders and mushrooms in his room and the insects?  Loved the character Skellig and thought they portrayed him really well - wings were very realistic I thought.

I thought the ending was a bit weak, but it has made me want to read the book as it looks like they had to skim over lots of detail that I'm hoping is in the book.

What did others think about it?

Hi Therese

thanks!  You know I still feel fat - I (wrongly) focus on all the lumps and bumps I still have, although I do see it in my face.   I think it's always easier to see the difference in other people rather than ourselves (especially as I know what I look like naked!!!!! LOL).
