Yeah I tried slim fast, but for the amount I can get down, there didn't seem to be enough protein - now I'm a few weeks further down the line i'm gonna try again.  Also taken to having options hot chocolate with added skimmed milk powder - really heavy going but  maybe thems the breaks.

sounds like we're in the same place with the protein intensive food, was starting to think I'm the only one out there not fitting in any veg.

Out of interest what protein bars are you using.

BTW my hubby says you have a "right proper bike" (yorkshire lad) lol! He used to be dead into it for a while, back when he lived in Yorkshire with proper hills, we're in east anglia now, flat as anything now, hills that kill me make him chuckle.

Thx for the friend request, I had a quick look on your blog -  am I right in thinking you haven't  had surgery.  Have you really done all this by yourself!!!  Either way, its bloomin impressive. Much respect.

What is a turbo trainer - if I had one, I would def tag on to your mission.  I've just started getting back on my bike in the last week - but boo hiss, a lot of the country parks don't allow bikes - so its not working out as easy as i would have hoped.

Sounds like you're doing fantastic tho - can't wait to read your post that you've done it in one go.

Hi Binty

Today I ate:

B  1.5 ozsbeef, 1 Tsp chick peas, 1 tsp mayonnaise and 1 tsp linseeds
L  2 ozs cheese and 1 Tsp chick peas
S  1 protein bar
D  3 ozs goose, 1 Tsp gravy.

Last week I did chew some crackling but spat it out after.  Like you, my stomach ached afterwards, as it is with the goose - possibly the high fat content.

I really have to have a protein drink or bar to keep my protein levels up.  Like you I need to work on my liquids.

I'm 7 weeks post op, 2 st 13lbs down (weigh every day - not prepared to give that up) 1lb to go to the 3st mark, whoop whoop

finding easy -
enjoying food, nothing seems to really disagree if I eat it slowly
feeling full
excercising

finding hard
haven't done that well avoiding temptation over easter (bread, coronation chicken, pork crackling, black pudding - but not all in one go) big oops, but paying the price with stomache ache for 3rd day. Been finding temptation easy so relaxed and wallop!!!

to get all my protein in, have reverted to eating nothing but protein, mackerel for brekkie, omlette or fritatta for lunch and no veg stew for dinner - still only getting  50-60g in.

energy levels are down the pan

must drink more

So nice to see some movement on here, I'd kind of stopped looking and was a bit disappointed.  The UK market is so different from US, it'll be nice to have you guys around.  (and I might stop picking up all the American terms that I never used to use lol)
