I for one am soooooo happy with the rain. I have 3 kids and childmind for 9 others, and they have worn away the grass in the garden to a big shiny hard mud patch over the last couple of years. This year I have re seeded and have been watering the blessed thing twice a day. This morning I get up to no watering, and a green haze showing where mud used to be.

I agree with you, there's no sense in our weather this last ten years. Wet summers and hot springs, changeable autumns do not help. There's so much hype about staying in the UK for holidays, but you can't count on the weather at all!

Two weeks ago I went and got out all the garden chairs etc and I actually got a tan just from stting out there reading! Glorious spring weather!
I do like clear seasons and would not want to live somewhere that was always hot and dry. but ti would be so nice if once the nice weather arrived, it stayed! just for a few months!!

Fewer meds: a real Wow! (or as the guys on the Men's forum would say, a real "FART"--Fabulous, Amazing, Really Terrific!)
A tip for seeing yourself as you really are: take your favorite photo and tape it up everywhere; the refrigerator, the bathroom, the front door. I know it sounds egocentric, but it will help you to see yourself as others see you. And it will give your 12 y.o. something more to tease you about!!

You should hear me in a crowded room - I jump in to other peoples conversations all the time LOL, its what comes of being the youngest in a large and loud family.
