I was looking for endame in tescos, but with no success - where do you get them from.  Also how do you like to enjoy them, I've heard of them as roasted nibblies but also in salads.

I rely on nuts for good protein snacks. But I never eat the salted ones - they would work as well for stopping hunger for me but I don't like to eat too much sodium. I prefer the higher cal of unsalted cashews but do eat soya beans in the form of endame as a treat.

I'm starting up this thread, as the main board is nigh on useless for us for finding good products.  Please share your fav foods and products either that you have always used or you have just discovered, esp high protein ones.  I was inspired to do this because of my latest discovery.

Soy nuts - in the crisp/chinese snack section of tescos.  They are salted and roasted and are fantastic as a high protein snack.  25g, will either last me 1 or 2 snacks and provides 100 cals and 11.5g protein.  Now don't get me wrong - they are no rival in the taste stakes for a good cashew, but they are pleasant, salty and crunchy.  I think I'm gonna start keeping some in my handbag for emergencies.

I can't wait to see you without your beard - how exciting, you'll feel like your face is freezing and naked lol.
At 12 years old, your son will prob not realise let alone express it, but I can guarantee his pride in you is growing every day.

Now you've lost 63 pounds, puts me in the shade.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!

There is a difference in quality when you buy from Asda as I'm sure you've found.  But I'm losing sizes so fast it really doesn't matter at the moment.  When I reach target I'll have a few shirts made to measure as a reward - once my weight has been stable for a few months!

Thanks for the info on posting pictures.  I'll try to post one on the discussion board at 4 months post op.

I look in the mirror and simply don't believe it's me.  Shaving off the beard this weekend, it's been my hiding place for so long.  My face actually has some shape, WOW.  Once I'm back on a motorbike the beard will be a fixture for 6 months of the year, but will come off for the summer.  I feel ten foot tall at the moment.  Last weekend my lad (12) put his arms around me and gave me a cuddle.  His hands met at the back for the first time ever, and he tried to break my ribs.  Priceless!!!

My husband has to shop at High and Mighty (tall section) and oh my goodness soooooo expensive, Asda must seem like its giving them away!!! I've managed to buy a couple of things from Asda too, bring it on is all I can say.  Marks's will be fab, make sure you keep us updated.

I've found with the pictures, especially on a discussion board, its usually the size that stuffs it up but it doesn't even tell you that.  I save piccies as a much smaller file, and then copy and paste - works for me, you just have to be sure you are pasting the actual picture and not a link to the picture, saving them to desktop first and doing it from there with the file closed is the way I found most reliable.

Your picture is fabulous, you must feel ont op of the world. XXX

Some of the clothes I put away made me shudder when I looked at them again.  lol.  I've just bought PJs from Asda (cold all the time) and they fit!  M&S next.  Going to a wedding in October, it will be a new experience to walk into a shop on the High Street for a suit instead of High and Mighty.  Another 7 pounds or so and M&S will fit off the peg.    There appears to be something wrong with the OH site as I'm unable to load the latest photo onto MY OH, but I'll keep trying.  The diet plan is going well, I think I'll just move it around a bit every week and change the veggies as new ones become available.  I'm having fun making soups from leftovers as the fancy takes me.  Pretty soon you may have the confidence to post another picture.  Really impressed with the pic of you and the boys!

I've gone through a wardrobe shake-up too. There is no better feeling than throwing big clothes away, gives a real buzz. I've got all my old clothes out the loft, but realised the reason they were in good enough condition to put away in the first place, was because they weren't worn much due to ill fitting or looking ridiculous first time round!!
Can't wait to see your full length shots, with your new slim trim waistline
BTW how did your marvellous weekly diet plan go.
