I've signed up there too, but I'm not up and running yet - need to sort out some issue or other with the chat rooms. Like you I'm looking for uk support, I've also looked into 'wlsinfo' site, but it looks like they want money to join the discussion boards (cheeky monkeys) - but I have found a support group through them, just gotta see if I ever make it there.

Have you come across this? Seems to be mainly in the North of England ( both East and West sides). Support groups for all wls types.

Miss Redd - groups in Lancs and Cheshire.

Have signed up to forum and am wating to get access. Not leaving OH but would so much like to find wls people to have coffee with!!

I'm up for planning for the future, Oxfordshire sounds perfect - I love it there, but have only been once.  I am a childminder,  but only in term time, so as long as I can find childcare (hubby day off or my darling mum) I can make it at weekends and school hols too.  I need a break from the kids from time to time. So in actual fact mid - late august would be great. we could visit somewhere lovely.

I never did claim for the purse, I spoke to the insurance company, and it turns out I have £100 excess, so even with bumping up the contents there would've been very little gain.  Somehow we managed to put it behind us, and amazingly didn't suffer too much trying to make up the shortfall over the month (not quite sure how, because money is tight)

I'll look forward to seeing you, and maybe by then we can see if anyone else responds, who we can rope in.

Spent the last two days at Legoland.  Alex is fantastically happy, I've lived on protein bars and water the whole time!  If I eat out it does make me vomit.  I've no idea why yet, unless it's the herbs and spices that I'm not used to.  What a glorious weekend!!!
