Hiya Pattie!
Thanks for joining us! I don't live too far from Liverpool. I live very near to Blackburn.
One of my favorite friendly places for the tum is Marks and Spencer's. It's not a diner-but a convenience shop. They have lovely fresh veg and fruit. They also have a selection of lunch meats and dinners to take home and make.
Most places here seem to be quite friendly and are happy to show you what they have on menu which might work best for you.
Glad you are here!!

Hi! I'm Pattie. I actually live in the US, in Orlando, FL. I wanted to join this group because I spend time in the UK quite often, usually in Liverpool. I'll be going there in a few weeks. I had the RNY surgery 19 January, 2010 and so far have lost 208 pounds. I'm actually at my goal weight now. I've had some ups and downs with it, mostly because I developed a stricture at my surgery site which prevented me from eating solid food. I still stick to mostly soft foods and liquids, which is why I lost so much so fast. I'm a little concerned about my upcoming trip to Liverpool. Having been there before, I don't recall a lot of places to eat that are bariatric friendly. A LOT of fried foods! If anyone can give me suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Other than that, it's nice to be here and would love some British WLS friends!
