I'm banded so can't advise! Try the RNY board or the Main Board.
But my very best wishes! Wls is what we make it. Ignore people who say it is an easy option - we work hard! All of us! But work with it and it will give you that help you need to succeed and maintain that loss.

I'm here!!! I lost my temper, deactivated, regretted and reinstated!!
So fed up with petty squabble but I can ignore those! It is the constant ignorance! I can take so much of replying to posts saying
"I have been banded for 3 months and only lost 50lbs. What am I doing wrong?"
Or the great ones
"I am bleeding from both ears and in so much pain I am rolling on the floor, whilst vomitting constantly. Do you think i should make an appointment to see my doc?"
Sheesh!

I went in for the rny but came out with the vsg, so I can't give you much advice except walk as much as you can and sip your liquids like your life depends on it once you're cleared for them!
Perhaps the rny board will have more specific advice for you. Very best of luck!!!

I've got about 20lb to go, but because I'm kinda happy where I am it's proving very hard for me. I've gone back to a lot of my old eating habits, but the exercise is keeping my weight effortlessly stable, which in turn makes it harder to stop those habits . Today is the start of a new effort though, and I'm feeling relatively determined to break some bad habits!!!
...and yes, still excercising lots - I teach 1 zumba class a week, attend a further 2, and have to fit in lots of practise too. I'm also still running, usually only a couple of times a week (can't fit much more in my schedule!!!), but at the moment I'm cramming a bit more in cos I'm doing the London 10k in 2 weeks - it never ceases to amaze me how much my life has changed in 18 months.

Lovely to hear from you, Binty, and only those few pounds to go for you! Are you still exercising like a Dervish? LOL.

What ssquabbling? Sorry, but I only use this site and the Atkins and VSG sites. It would be sad if she deactivated for any length of time.
