Great news about finding your voice again!
I used to sing occasionally thirty years ago and perform some of my own poetry. Janice's choir is is having an open concert night, and I've volunteered one song and one poem, may find out where my nearest folk club is...
Painting portraits from photographs starts 2nd December and I'm really looking forward to it. Could do with a lottery win so that we had time for all the things that make life so interesting.
Came back from the cruise, and the trees are brown and shedding, already looking forward to Spring.
Paul.

Hey, Miss Redd--here's another lost soul for you!!

For some reason, it sounds as if the bariatrics folks in the UK just aren't as caring about their
patients as one could wish.
Well, education is not only for the patient, is it??
Thanks,

Happy Saturday!!
What are you all up to???
I am still keeping as focused as possible. This is still a super stressful time for me "Fiscal End of Quarter" for finance. It's also called INSANE! LOL!
I have some fun news, though! Hubby is finally going to go back to the studio to finish a CD and...I have found the nerve to finally join him and do some backing vocals for him.
I have been a singer for many years-but I went through several years where I just could not sing -especially around my hubby. I guess there is lots about trust in this for me. I decided to find my voice again and I also find this is helping me stay a bit more sane.
So-what are you doing? What risks are you taking? What ways have you changed? What ways would you LIKE to change???
Love to hear from you!!
Peace,
T

Hey Lisa!!
Thank so much for popping in and updating! YOU are very busy. You know what I thought though? I was thinking "WOW! Up very early and going for a walk and then going to work for a full day!?!? SHE is in great shape!"
It does sound like you have a job which you really look forward to. That makes all the difference, doesn't it?
Congrats on your upcoming Surgiversary too! What a difference it has made, eh?
I would love to hear more about your job. It sounds like it must be very rewarding!!
Great to hear from you and fabulous to know you are doing so well!!
Hugs,
T

So sorry that I've been MIA. I've never been much for posting, but I do try. I haven't been to this board in a long time. I was just thinking about it the other day, as well. Anyway, lots of stuff has been going on over the last year or so. Hubby had hip surgery a year ago this coming Tues. and I have my two year anniversary for WLS on Weds. Wow!! time has gone by so fast. Started a new job last Dec. that I really love, but it's very fast paced and busy.
Average Day
Hubby and I are up at 4:30AM, out the door for a brisk 30 minute walk with the pup, back for showers and breakfast, COFFEE! hour commute to work, running around from stem to stern at the hospital I work in (only use the stairs), work on average about 9-10 hours, off to commute home for at least an hour in traffic, make lunches for the next day, eat a light supper, then bed by 9 (if I'm lucky!!) LOL The week flies by so quickly!
So to answer your question, YES, SPREAD VERY THIN!

I'm trying to spread myself even thinner!
Kate will probably look in sometime this month. Might be worth mailing individuals?
Do we sometimes take on too much because that increases our self-worth, or is it that we're all afraid of losing our jobs? Sorry you're frazzled, hopefully you'll have a restful weekend.
