I'll be trawling the shops trying to get some clothes that will not only fit but look decent on my pre-op body. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I start a new job in a weeks time after a few years out looking after babies and re-training. I had hoped my RNY would be done and dusted before returning to work but I can't put off work anymore. I'm still waiting on a date for my psych evaluation, just one more assessment before I get THE DATE.
Will be avoiding cooking of any kind. I am on meal replacement diet so food and I aren't mixing. Started it for vanity reasons really, with the added benefit of being in better shape for the surgery. I need to super quickly fit into some smart clothes I've not worn for a while. You all know how expensive plus-size clothes are.
I also need to tackle my ever growing pile of books yet to be read. Will be heading back into Purple Hibiscus shortly.
Otherwise it's a laid back long weekend at home with the family.

For at least 10 years I have had the same hair cut, Sure the length has changed but its always been the same, Well until today that is, In this blog you are seeing the birth of a new person, or more the re-birth of someone who for many year had lost their way:
New glasses
New (Although WIP) Body
New Face
New Clothes
New Hair
and most importantly a whole new outlook on life, I’m loving live and it just keep getting better, Sure I have challenges, stressful moments, hard times etc but then who doesn't , the good times I am having more than makes up for everything else.
I was in work for just 3 days this week due to a hospital appointment today so only managed 40 miles on the GT (some of those were in gale force winds and hail storms), Next week however I will surpass 1900 Miles and edge a little closer to the 2k mark.
I will for now ( as the weather has been shocking ) leave you with just one picture for this update.

First order of business is to welcome on board our newest members! We are THRILLED to have you here and we NEED your input, experience and support. Remember-it doesn't matter where you are in the process, we all have something to offer here.
So-time off? Will you be enjoying some you time? Some family time? What are your plans? My husband is off work for the term break (I believe we have several teachers who will be doing the same on this board!).
I believe hubby and I are going to paint the kitchen. We have a project and a half on our house. The paint is early "re-fried bean" (LOL!) and the kitchen is an ANGRY red colour! Now-I think beige and red both are lovely if done right in a house where they are blended just right. However-this kitchen is TINY and it looks closed in.
I found a very faint iris/grey/heather type colour and we are going to test it out and get that base stuff applied to the red and then go for it. Wish us luck! I think the lighter shade will really help to cool it off and open it up.
Now that I have bored you to tears-I would LOVE to hear your plans. Are you going to be cooking? How about exercise? Is anyone going to watch the movie Skellig on Sunday night? I am SO sad we are not getting Sky tv until next week and I will miss it!
OK-so tag-you're it!!
Peace,
T
So glad to have you here! Please feel free to join right in. I would love to hear more about you!!

I dont actually do much! I go to work, I play with our beastly dog, I clean the house, cook, we take nice walks. I love the area around here. We have the woods close-by and it has 5 different tracks you can take and in the other direction we have a big beautiful lake to walk around and its by a church thats 1000 years old with viking runestones hanging about.
I have always wanted to get into photography as a hobby and I am in the perfect place here for it. I look forward to dropping the weight so that I can have more mobility and energy so I can take it up.
There are many things I have wanted to do but I have allowed my weight to hold me back. There are concerts I wanted to go to, market events etc but not only is it uncomfortable to drag my weight around, I always feel so self conscious. It takes too much fun out of things for me. I do envy those who struggle with their weight, as I do, but dont allow it to hold them back in life and from doing the things they want.
I am off all week! We are going to get some spring cleaning done, take some good long walks with our beastly dog and just enjoy the time off.
Of course I dont think my husband likes being forced to organize all his school stuff but he taken over our extra room and turned it into some sort of junk room with books and papers everywhere. Its not like he can use any of those papers, they arent organized so there is no way for him to USE them! So, I am forcing him to put all the papers in binders and we are going to get some new book shelves and turn the room into his study room. I dont mind making the room his, I just dont want it to be JUNKY!
The house has to be cleared of all junk and completely clean before I do my surgery or I have threatened to call in his mother. She will organize everything and have it shiny clean and her standards are much higher than mine! LOL!! Poor hubby man!
