I LOVE the Biggest loser, but agree that it'll probably take a few series to develop and be as good as the US version. I'll still tune in though!! Series 5 of Biggest loser US really inspired me too! It was the first series I watched from start to finish without missing any, and Ali, Mark and Roger were truly insperational!
I jus****ched tonights Uk one, and have to say I was shocked at the state of some of the contestants- 3 injured/sent to the hospital within the first hour of training!!! I think this may get more interesting, and I will definately continue watching!!

Topic: RE: Tuesday's Workout!
I am really determined with my exercise at the moment, 12 weeks until my big day, so need to be as toned as possible!
I jogged for 30 minutes, then walked 30 minutes. 30 minutes of Calisthenics (sit-ups, push-ups, squats and dips). Feeling really good about myself!
Tomorrow night I am going to an aerobics class which lasts an hour, and will follow that with a half hour swim to cool down and relax! May squeeze in a run before work tomorrow morning too if it isn't raining!
Well done on your cycle!

YOU are a living example of embracing SELF Empowerment. It's one thing to read about these ideas in a book and quite another to watch one down-to-earth guy REALLY walking the talk..
YOU ROCK!
Peace,
T
Awwww thats such a nice thing to say, I have a lump in my throat right now, Thank you.
Its not easy for me, in the same way its hard for everyone else round here but if we stick together, we can beat this

I will always say series 5 where Ali was the winner saved my life, It showed me that I could do it, Mark, Rodger and Ali to this day will always been credited by me as the ones to save my life, Maybe for that reason I just cant enjoy another version as much, I will watch tonights in a bit and let you know what I though tabout it, We could use this as the BL evening thread ?

Topic: 27 Members!?
Hi everyone!
I would like to announce that we now have 27 members!!! That is absolutely wonderful. I do hope that each and everyone who has joined feels comfortable enough to come post and share.
I believe that our experience with WLS in the UK has some points which are different in the US. I am really enjoying watching everyone communicating and sharing their experience.
We really have a wonderful mix of folks on the board with a wide range of personal experience. To me that is like GOLD!! Imagine all we can learn from each other.
So-I wanted to stop in and say hi and I will make a different post to give you an update on me.
Thanks for joining and thanks to all of you who have taken the time and care to post!
Peace,
