I know some of you may still be lurking here. Maybe you are happy in lurk-mode..which is fine too! But-if you would like to jump in with some thoughts or questions, please feel safe to do so here. There are MANY decent folks here who will be of great help and support!!!

Me? OMG-I totally over scheduled myself this week. I am NOT shocked. Pfft. I am starting work around 9am and working until about 10pm. It's only Tuesday and I am already fried. Hey-I put myself here though. Typical of me to create a distraction!

Anyone else spread themselves too thin???

Hugs all!

Peace,
T

I'm trying to spread myself even thinner!

Kate will probably look in sometime this month.  Might be worth mailing individuals?

Do we sometimes take on too much because that increases our self-worth, or is it that we're all afraid of losing our jobs?  Sorry you're frazzled, hopefully you'll have a restful weekend.

Evening Paul! Hey- we have made it to Wednesday !!! That is a WIN!

I am really starting to consider why in the world I overdo it. As they say, at the end of our days we will never say" darn I should have worked more!"

Good idea bout sending emails! Will do it first thing.

Wonderful to see you today!!!

So sorry that I've been MIA. I've never been much for posting, but I do try. I haven't been to this board in a long time. I was just thinking about it the other day, as well. Anyway, lots of stuff has been going on over the last year or so. Hubby had hip surgery a year ago this coming Tues. and I have my two year anniversary for WLS on Weds. Wow!! time has gone by so fast. Started a new job last Dec. that I really love, but it's very fast paced and busy.

Average Day
Hubby and I are up at 4:30AM, out the door for a brisk 30 minute walk with the pup, back for showers and breakfast, COFFEE! hour commute to work, running around from stem to stern at the hospital I work in (only use the stairs), work on average about 9-10 hours, off to commute home for at least an hour in traffic, make lunches for the next day, eat a light supper, then bed by 9 (if I'm lucky!!) LOL The week flies by so quickly!

So to answer your question, YES, SPREAD VERY THIN!

Hey Lisa!!

Thank so much for popping in and updating! YOU are very busy. You know what I thought though? I was thinking "WOW! Up very early and going for a walk and then going to work for a full day!?!? SHE is in great shape!"

It does sound like you have a job which you really look forward to. That makes all the difference, doesn't it?

Congrats on your upcoming Surgiversary too! What a difference it has made, eh?

I would love to hear more about your job. It sounds like it must be very rewarding!!

Great to hear from you and fabulous to know you are doing so well!!

Hugs,
T

Hey, Miss Redd--here's another lost soul for you!!

http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/rny/4465801/please-Helpppp pppppp-meee/#36936996

For some reason, it sounds as if the bariatrics folks in the UK just aren't as caring about their
patients as one could wish.

Well, education is not only for the patient, is it??

Thanks,
