My road is and has been  a VERY long one, but I am now around 4/5 stone away from my “Total" Goal and as such I wanted to take a quick look at where I have come from.

at over 550lbs this is where I started:

At around 400lbs this was the last time I took a vacation:

"Proof, it it were needed how long my road is, after losing 150lbs I still looked this bad."

and finally, after my vacation last week I am now around 290lbs, I am getting there, but I can’t ever forget where I came from !

My next goal is to have lost another 35-45lbs  by Dec 31st this year, if I do that then I am in touching distance !!!!

Wish me luck !

You just look so much younger, and look at the difference in smiles, you are truly inspiring - and when I am lacking in will power and needing to get it all under control, I need to remember the journey you have undertaken and suck it up. Good luck with your goal, imagine how good it will feel to be so close.

BTW whats happening with your plastics do you have any sort of timescales yet???

I am not going to wish you luck!! You clearly have done this by your own hard work and luck had nothing to do with it! An amazing achievement.  I am assuming you have had wls (not everyone on here has, a few are DIY people!) - which surgery was it?

Kate

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

AH-Mazing!!

You are a very amazing DIY-er! I see you posted on the main board too. I think it's SO very important that we get to see all different successes and then realize how much we have in common.

It's not really about the surgery-it's about the work we all PUT INTO IT!! You are a perfect example of willingness and not giving up-even when it was hard and even when you are tired and in pain.

Inspirational. You know I always say it-but what else can I call you??!!

Congrats and many,many thanks!

Thanks Miss R

That was the reason for the post on the main board, I love OH.com, its helped me become the person I am BUT everyone assumes that people who have lost weight have had WLS, so its good to show those that cant get approved that there is stll hope for them.

seeing other peoples before and afters always helped me lose weight too

Thanks again, you are always too kind to me
