8 weeks post vsg
Just vomited up dinner, same as I had for lunch. Sometimes there's no rhyme nor reason....
Off one diabetic medication, borderline for coming off a blood pressure tablet, waiting for reassessment of sleep apnoea needs. Life is good on the vsg.
Start weight 306, down 42, target 210. 54 pounds to goal

Ugh. Sorry about dinner. I really think sometimes the body is just adjusting and then readjusting. Just listen to your body as you have done and all will be well!
I bet anything you will soon be off your sleep aids!! It didn't take me long to get to ditch the old "Snorkie" (as I lovingly called it!).
Congrats and keep on keeping on!!

How dare you be losing more than me, you with that fancy bypass plumbing!!!??? lol. How is life treating you now? Hopefully you can get the supplements you deserve and your GP will be less of a bigot!
Wls is great so long as we don't mess it up. There are no longer any excuses.
Let's see the new you when you are ready to put some new photos on the site. I'll download a new one when I reach halfway.

LOL, thx Paul. I'm feeling really good this week, I am now only 6lbs from the weight when I met my hubby 12 years ago - thats a really nice feeling. I'm still camera shy tho, I can't see that I look any different, I think its denial that I ever looked any bigger. But nearly 3 1/2 stone means its definately all down to my head playing up - nothing new there. Can't wait to see your new piccies tho, and as that sounds really unfair, I promise to post mine by the time you do.
The doc, altho an arse, did come up with the perscriptions, and the pharmacist has been an absolute darling - very supportive and interested, and in his 3 months since taking over the chemist has already had many occasion to witness the doctors bigoted opinions.
Well I hope tonights dinner had a better journey than last nights. I've just finished turkey curry with green beans. Yum yum yum

As Miss Redd says, I think our bodies just take time to adjust. From what I have read elsewhere on OH, VSG is one of the wls which has fewer problems once everything settles down.
And it is SOOOOOO unfair that, all things being equal, men lose faster then women! Not implying it is easier for you ! We all work at this weight loss lark!
