Hi,
My name is Penny.  My hubby is currently serving with the Tn National Guard in Iraq.  He is a former marine.  Our entire marriage so far has pretty much been spent with him deployed, luckily for the last three years we were stationed in Alaska and I was with him..lol.  WLS was the best thing the military has ever done for us!!!..lol.  I am so thankful for the insurance coverage.  I'm so glad to meet others like y'all.  On top of WLS its nice to have others out there that know military life and its ups and downs as well.  I am always open for adding new friends!!  It's nice to meet y'all!

Hi everyone,

i havent really introduced myself i suppose..
I'm jessica. my husband is in the army infantry , 1/187 rakkasan stationed in ft. campbell.
I am from this area so born and raised about a hour from here. We have been here for about 2 years this time. last place we were stationed in germany. I also had no idea that there was a baratric surgical center here till the end of 2009. I am so thankful to be near this amazing hospital and the amazing people and nurses who are so dedicated to this. I have been around the army for almost 8 years now. married to it for 7 this month. thankfully here they are willing to try to schedule the surgery for before my husband gets deployed for the 4th time in may. Thank god. We dont have any kids as of yet..hopefully after about 2 years we can start having some little ones that i can actually be able to chase after..

hope to see everyone on here every once in awhile and watch everyone progress..

xoxo,
jessy

Hiya!
I'm Amber. 33 year old Air Force wife with two girls (ages 6 and 13). Currently living in KEntucky whilst the hubs is in Korea, but we'll be moving to Germany sometime in August. Had my surgery almost 4 years ago. Was a nice steady loss until recently. After my first "Real" winter in a while (I lived in AZ for almosy 7 years!) I gained a little and am having difficulty getting it off and getting back on track.  I also miss the military community, as there's no base anywhere near where we live right now.

highest weight: 335 (possibly more) pounds
current weight: holding steady at about 138-142
Lowest weight: 136

Hello,
My name is Jennifer but everyone calls me JeiJei.
My husband is in the Army,Infantry and we are currently stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY.
I just had my surgery 4 weeks ago tomorrow. I am very excited to start this WLS journey but know that it will be difficult due to all the moving us Military Families have to do. My husband is getting ready for his 3rd deployment and I am very happy to see other military spouse's and family members on here!!!
Wish I would have known it was all in my head to begin with!

Hey Y'all,

My name is Amy. I am a 33 y/o SAHM to 3 kids and the Air Force spouse. We are currently stationed at Little Rock AFB in Arkansas. This is our second time around at this base. We spent 18 months in Germany but came back because of some medical problems with my oldest child.

I had my RNY on 13 Nov 09 and am down 76 pounds. I am really thankful that I was able to have the surgery. I can't wait to see what else is still to come!!
