Hey Everyone !!!

I'd first like to say good luck tomorrow Tracy.....You will do great !

The thing I look forward to most is being able to wake up in the morning without that damn CPAP machine on my face....

My greatest fear is that I will not succeed.  I want to be healthy !!!
I'm not afraid of the pain.  I have faith in my surgeon and medicine..
I'm really wondering how you get all that protein in.

My surgery date can not come soon enough!!!!

I wish everyone here success and happiness with their journey... :)

Topic: RE: Introductions
Hey all you fellow March sleevers!
My name is Kati. I am a 41 yr. old single mother with a 11 year old daughter. My surgery date is March 8 in Tijuana. My story is alot like yours. I have been overweight all of my life. I also tried Weight W*****er's from the time I was around 9 or 10 (don't really remember) and then again when I was in my mid-thirties. I did manage to lose 70 lbs and then gained it all back plus some in the last couple of years. During my recent weight gain I felt so ashamed of myself. I didn't want to be seen in public. I didn't have to see my friends and family cuz they live athousand miles away. I guess, I felt that if they didn't have to see me then it was okay to look this way. Out of sight, out of mind. But my daughter has to see me, live with me. I want to be able to do things with her like ride a roller-coaster with her, go horseback riding with her. Just be with her without being an embarrassment to her.

Tracy, when I read your introduction you made me feel a little at ease. I have been worried about the travel to Tijuana rather than the surgery. I am also traveling by myself. I look forward to reading your post about your experience. I am having my surgery at INT Hospital with Dr. Sergio Verboonen. Good luck with your surgery and to everyone else on this journey. Take care.

Tracy, you were in my thoughts today.  I'm glad to see that you made it safely and you have a nice hotel room.  I really like your in depth posts.  They make me feel like I'm right there!  Can't wait to see the pics from your "penthouse suite"!!
In case you don't get on anymore before your surgery, I wish you all the best for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy recovery.  Be sure to dust off a spot for me on the loser's bench.  I'll be there on Wednesday.

Part of my preop diet is staying away from carbs and OMG ITS HARD!!!!!  All I wanted tonight was a piece of bread lol.  I can have 3 servings of lean meats and/or cottage cheese, ricotta cheese and yogurt, 3 servings of fruit, 3 servings of veggies, and 2 protein drinks....I want BREAD lol!!  I feel myself being very moody the last couple of days and this is just the beginning...***sigh***
