1st week with no loss

Well it finally happened. A week with no loss. For many this happens around week 3 but I managed to avoid it until week 5. I was beginning to think it wasn't gonna get me! I am not surprised or upset about it though. I actually got a "visit" from AF last week, which could have triggered my lack of weight loss.
I just hope this is just for 1 week. I feel so bad for those that say they they stall for several weeks. That would really SUCK!

How's everyone else doing so far? Any stalls yet? If so, what post op week did it happen for you?

I stalled during the 2nd week! It was definitely demoralizing. I knew it would happen...just not that soon. Now I only weigh at the doctor's office. It keeps me sane.

Last week which was week 3 I didn't loose until the end of the week.  Thank goodness I knew that it would happen.  Thank you guys for that heads up.    It was demoralizing but got through it.  I am weighing myself alternate days.
Got the NUT and follow up with the surgeon next week...If the NUT just throws bits of paper at me as she has so far I will ask Surgeon to send me to another NUT.. As I m self pay I think that I should get the service from her that I am paying for.  I have been recording what I am eating in a diary so she will be looking at this and telling me if I am doing the right things and not treat me as though my obesity is catching!!
Anyway you are doing so well with your weight loss so you really must be doing a good job.  Don't worry those scales will start moving very soon.

I stayed off the scale until my follow up appointment yesterday.  In the past 4 weeks I lost 8.5 lbs.  I was really hoping for more, but since I started this journey in August I've lost 53 lbs.  Now that I'm on solids and so-called maintenance, I'm probably gonna start weighing myself once a week now.  I know I need to get to exercising, but I've been lax in getting all my protein in and water/liquids.  I'm hoping to lose 16 pounds by my next appointment on May 27.  Really gonna have to beef things up to get that done.  GYM TIME here I come.

I'm doing the stall thiing also but I refuse to get worked up about it. Just trying to keep those fluids going and up the protin. I have read some popsts saying that upping both calories and fluid will help break the stall though. Your doing awesome so try not to stress out about it.

I didn't lose anything from the first wee****il just a few days ago! (Surgery was on 3/25--no idea how to add that to my profile). I was getting upset about it, even though at the same time I realized that I was doing everything I was supposed to.

Part of my problem was constipation I think, and once I took a stool softener, I started losing. I'm down 23.4 pounds total since 3/8. Much  more than I would have been able to lose on my own.

I started officially exercising last Saturday and I think that has really helped me with inches, and I'm hoping it continues to help me lose. Today I spent 35 minutes on the treadmill and felt great afterwards. Can't wait to do weight training, water aerobics, and yoga again!
