Well only 22 hours to go till I have to go to the hospital to have my sleeve and I can join those of you who are getting used to your new lives.  I am not really nervous, but I expect that that will change nearer the time and whether I sleep tonight, well that is another issue...Never mind I will tomorrow...LOL
I have a day off today and I have a list of things to do.  Change my bedding, Pay my credit card off and my account with Simply Be.  buy some more 4month baby food.  Hoover the house and do the washing.  Cook the last meal for my husband. He is having roast pork.... Email my best friend with directions to the hospital. Calm my mother down again!!! (She is stressed as she sort of feels it is her fault that I am fat)(No mother, I put the stuff in my mouth) Also I am her only daughter. She will come down and see me in hospital on Friday.
Oh Yes I must pack my bag and what do I need???
May be when I get to the hospital I will get a rest.
Actually just thinking about this maybe I am getting a little nervous, Must not show it though and portray an air of confidence.  I think you guys are the only ones that I will tell that too
See you on the other side....hopefully.....

Take chopstick along...I didn't and my lips became so dry. I became thirsty and enjoyed ice chips. My surgery went well- 4 hrs as expected. I had awful gas pains after surgery. Make sure you walk because it really helps! I started my journey at 285.5. The day of my VSG, I weighed 270.1 lbs! I am 3wks post and feeling wonderful. My main obstacle was getting used to the protein (ugh!) drink the recommended amounts of water suggested by your doctor. Try setting up a scheduled time to eat. Try and plan your meals, too. I use a water bottle that states the ounces. I find it helpful. When I find myself lagging behind with the amount of water; I am known to resort to a measuring cup!

Good luck and best wishes! You've made an amazing decision in a positive direction. My life (as well as yours) has changed for the better.

I think it would be unusal for someone to not be nervous. It's very normal. Keep up your positive attitude and it will fly by faster than you think! Looking forward to seeing you on the losers bench!

I'll be thinking of you!

Sorry I missed your post before surgery. This has been a difficult week for me, but anyway. I hope your surgery went well and welcome to the loser's bench. Keep us up to date on your recovery.
