Once your surgery is complete do you plan on tracking your daily food intake? If so, how will you do this? For example, on computer or pen and paper? If done electronically, which site are you going to use?

My one week anniversary is tomorrow and I haven't been tracking my food.  It has me so stressed and I didn't realize it until this evening.

I get FULL and then freak out thinking I've over eaten.  I'm kind of aware of my protein but not of the liquid or visa versa.  I'm also having a difficult itme telling if I'm almost full or hungry or what.  I don't think I'm hungry but I think I need to eat...or do it....ahhhhh.   I need to log my food so I know exactly what I'm consuming.  Otherwise it's the same old story and I'm not using this wonderful tool.

Good question!

I plan to track. Right now I'm subscribed to Fit Day, but I'm not sure I love it enough to stick with it. I'm going to check out a few other sites that have apps I can add to my phone, because I definitely want to be able to track when I'm out throughout the day.

Especially in the beginning I think it will be important for me to track so that I see exactly how much protein I'm getting. Also, the accountability is good for me.

So far I have not tracked my intake but I know I need to start. In the past I always tracked what I was eating because I needed to track calories and carbs. I guess I didn't think it would be important yet because I can't eat much, but I have other reasons to track now.

For example, I have realized I am waiting too long to eat, then I am so hungry I eat too fast, which has caused me to eat more than needed at times, which is very uncomfortable. You would be surprised at the difference a few little bites can make.

In the past I have used just pen and paper and an app on my phone to track my food intake. I think I will probably use my cell phone app, My Net Diary, to track this time. I like this app because you can also use the website to track everything at mynetdiary.com
