March 2011 Sleevers
Leaving for my Surgery
Well fellow sleevers and soon to be sleevers, I am on my way to Nashville to leave for San Diego in the morning and then across the border to Tijuana, Mexico. I just received a phone call from my surgeon's office and everything is a go. Woo Hoo!
I can't believe this is truly happening. My emotions are all over the place. Is this the right thing to do? I spoke with my mom just a little while ago and she said, "its not too late to change your mind." My mind has been made up for over five years now and this opportunity came around when I needed a change in my life. I think its time that the world see's the real me from the inside out instead of the outside in.
Good luck to all of you who are getting sleeved tomorrow. Happy Fat Tuesday to us! I will try and post as soon as I can. Thanks for all of the great posts and words of encouragement. I'll see you all on the losers bench. Take care.

Kati,
I'm so excited for you! You will be so happy once it is all over with. Just remember the first few hours after are the worse and the first day is the hardest. After that it is nothing but improvement!
Have a safe and uneventful surgery!
Let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it!
