My wife and I found a good recipie on a website.  Its called 3 ingredient chicken.  I started putting it together but found out didnt have all the ingredients so I improvised.

1.5 lb to 3 lb chicken breast
1 can reduced sodium cream of chicken soup (original recipie called for two cans and no cream of mushroom)
1 can cream of mushroom soup ( didnt have the reduced in the cupboard)
1 brick reduced fat cream cheese
I also added two jars of mushrooms that the original didnt call for.

We put this in the crockpot in the morning on low and cooked it for around 9 hours could have been taken out earlier.

I'm on full liquids so when I got home I scooped a portion of chicken and sauce into my magic bullet and blended it up.  It was an awesome change compared to the protein shakes.  My wife is 7 weeks out and has had trouble eating some foods.  She said the chicken was so soft and moist that it was very easy to eat.  So for a thrown together meal it was awesome.

Topic: RE: Goals
My Goals right now are to get to my one month post op which is on March 17th.  Then I will hopefully be cleared to go to regular foods.  The shakes are good but after two weeks of them it is getting alittle old.  I would love to eat some shredded chicken or something to chew on.

Topic: Goals
I have 2 primary goals right now, both having to do with fitness.  The first is to be able to do Bloomsday beginning of May - it is a 7.46 mi walk.  The second is to be able to do a half-marathon on September 25.  I had a LBL surgery December 9, so it is like starting over from scratch as far as being in shape.  So, I am working with a personal trainer, and trying to slowly increase my endurance as far as how far I can walk.  And walking on a treadmill is a whole lot different than walking outside!  So, starting this week, I will do a 2 mi walk, increasing it each week.  Meanwhile, continue doing an hour of cardio 6 days a week at gym, and 3 days of strength training for an hour each.  Also need to get in as best shape as possible for my son's wedding on July 31.  And lastly, to overcome that habit of grazing.  So easy to be mindless and not even realize you are doing it sometimes.  Lots of support, though, so I know I'll make it!
