Topic: kroger insurance
has any of you had surgery and have anthem bc/bs through kroger ufcw local 400. i had to switch insurace from my camc insurance to my hubbys kroger insurance. All i know is that i have to have 2 letters of opinion and a 2nd opinion which isnt a issue. but since i know kroger insurance is picky. they would barelly pay the rest of my open heart surgery cost. it makes me wonder. im currently in my 5 th month of my medical supervised weight loss program

Hi all, I see there is a support group planned for August 12th, is that still on? It would be nice to talk to people face to face.

i would like to start going to the support meetings however i work every fri evening at camc so my schedule doesnt permit it. im actually starting my 7 month diet and exercise plan that msbcbs requires. if all goes well i should be having my surgery sometime may 2010. do you guys have any suggestions on how i can get support through this life changing processs since my work schedule doesnt permit me to go to meetings.

I went to Dr Shinn today and all I have left to do is see the psychologist. That appointment is in May. I saw where there are meeting on Fridays at 6:00. Do you all meet every Friday? I live in Boone county and work till 6:00 on Fridays, but would try and get off early some Friday if I knew if and when you had a meeting. I would love to talk to someone that has had the surgery or is going to have it. I'm having the lapband myself.

I too am new to Charleston. I've been in the city since April, but actually moved here in August. This is the first time I've joined a group and plan to be active - not just a passive reader. I had my surgery 1/04 and have kept the weight off, but I know that I need to exercise desperately! Even though I'm not gaining anything, I'm starting to spread and get flabby. Any words of wisdom and inspiration would help.

This new site is an extension of the WV OH Forum. Encourage your friends to join us. I'd love to see this site become a positive, encourageing and informative site for those who seek support and cannot get a group together or do not have a qualified leader or facilitator. I know it can become a reality. The sites are in the initial phases and I hope to see real success.
Wanted to elt you know that I encouraged Cathy and Debbie from OH to schedule one of the OH events in 2008 for our area. Dr. Stickler, Jeremy Mullins, Dr. Abula Bandak have all shown an interest in helping with the program. I know I can count on you guys too, if needed. Keep your fingers crossed - these events are wonderful!!!
