Yeah I feel ya. That's a good guess. I have been actually eating 2 granola bars and an apple during the day due to the hunger. And it wouldn't be so bad but I am starving when I go home at night. I haven't been doing well. I ate pizza and gummy worms this evening. Over my calories. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I had time to exercise. I guess that's me being lazy after work and being a mom. I'll get better at this. At least I'm trying. This week I'll switch to eating a real lunch and having the shakes for breakfast and dinner.

HI! I bought the premier shakes as well. And I'm still hungry within an hour after drinking it. It's only 160 calories, and I think our bodies are use to eating a 300-400 calorie meal. This is just a guess. So this week instead of eating dinner, I'll just have a shake.

Topic: Premier Protein & Foods

I bought the Premier Protein shakes from Costco yesterday. I have decided to try my best to have 2 a day in place of food. Today is day 1. Yesterday I replaced 1 meal with it and had fish and veggies and rice for dinner. I wasn't hungry after the shake. It, unlike other weight loss shakes helps with the hunger. I think it is because of the amount of protein. I got the chocolate ones and they taste good. I was actually thinking about blending it with ice in the am before work. I like my shakes extra cold.

For dinners I have been eating flounder, salmon, chicken. Those are my go to but I am doing my best to stick with the white meats and the flounder and salmon are easy because they come in pre-packaged 4oz bags inside of a big like 4lb bag or something. I just pull a few out and toss them in the fridge at the beginning of the week. I get those at walmart. I also get frozen veggies california blend with squash and I toss it in the microwave for about 2 minutes while I cook my fish. I am ready to eat my own dinner in like 7 minutes. It makes it easy because I have to cook dinner for the husband and for my food allergic daughter. That way I eat first and I am not picking at their food while I cook, starving from thew day.

If you all have anything you do that quick or good and you want to share please feel free to add to this thread. Or you can always start a new topic under discussions!

Topic: Our Options Journey Starts Here

I am happyand excited to be part of this group! I am ready to change my lifestyle. I cant wait to learn more about how to change my state of mind about food and my body.

I am hoping that we can all take many lessons from this group and post and share and learn from each others experiences. I think it is very important that we all succeed. I think we all could use each other as a support system. Sometimes the people in our daily lives are to comfortable with us to be supportive because they are used to our daily habits, as are we.

Please use this group to post and share. Make friends. We are in this together. I feel like I can not say that enough! You will find people all over the country and of all stages of the surgery and pre-surgery on here. Absorb this information. Take it and learn and run with it, share it. Lets save the classes for textbook discussions and new stages.

Bring your info and new found knowledge and or questions to the next level by posting here. Get talkative! State your opinion! I know a lot of us feel like we need to be reserved in our class. I can hear it in the silence of the room. This is a thread. Maybe we can use this to open up to each other a bit.

I say lets get moving and be a TEAM!
