How is everyone doing with their choices during this holiday season?

I was called for the very first time ever.  It was exciting and boring all at the same time.  I got to watch 2 movies and get in so much needed reading.  I had a wow moment.  They had these chairs that had a little retractable desk.  It reminded me of the desk we had in high school.  At any rate I sat down and pulled that little desk in front of me and completed my paperwork.  Then it hit me there was a time when I would not have dreamed of doing that.  I looked around the room and there were others who didn't try to lift the little desk, some tried and it would not fit over their stomach es, and there were those skinny B's that didn't think twice about it.  Having WLS has changed my life, my thoughts, and everything about me.  I pray that I can be a support to others along my life PATH.

I can't believe that it's been 3 weeks since my last post.  Well, I have been going to the gym and working out but no weight loss, but I feel great.  Me and Velda were featured in the presentation with Collen Cook (wow) this week.  I feel so great.  Also on Sat we were on a panel of 4 post op patients that told our story and presented a pin of appreciation to.  This event was held at the University Hilton.  We missed you all there.

I went to the YMCA after work today.  t was great I did an hour on the elliptical machine.  I saw a group of people doing the Zumbia class. I wanted to join soooo bad.  I found out that it is held every Thurs at 6:30pm.  Well, now you all know where I will be on  Thursdays.  And for those who was at the Freedom Park event.  They was playing my song.  Yes you named it Beyonce.  They was wrong for that.
