Good luck on your weight loss journey. The Tucson group is more active on Yahoo, if you're looking to attend events, etc.

I'm really interested in getting more involved with the Tucson group. Can you tell me more about how to contact them on Yahoo?

Thank you for the kind words. I did have an appointment with Monash on the 18th, were you there too? What a small world :)
Everything with the surgery went great, I had a hiatal hernia (didn't know I had one, explains why I had heartburn a lot) they repaired that during the surgery too.
So far I feel pretty good considering I had surgery a few days ago.
The only thing I have been having issues with is the gas that is trapped in my shoulder area. It's uncomfortable. The doctors pump your cavitiy full of gas during the operation and it takes some time for it to be absorbed out.
Dr Monash is the best! He was friendly, attentitive and gave me lots of good information. When you schedule your surgery he gives you this informative binder about the surgery you are having and the post op diet. It's awesome.
Please let me know how things go for you Angel. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
