I am finding I have way lots of unstructured time on my hands these days and one of my little pleasures is going into clothing stores just to try on clothes and see how they fit.  I havent actually bought much of anything but I do enjoy the looking, trying on and walking out.  Last week I tried on these jeggings, really cute, and today I tried on this pretty skirt and top at one of my favorite boutiques.  I am always amazed and delighted that the clothes fit and look really cute on.  Oh, over the weekend I actually bought a pair a pajamas from Costco made out of leopard looking fleece fabric, size small, and I didnt even try them on and they are so comfortable and I will be wearing them all winter.

I so wish I could wear leggings!!  But even when in my 20s, leggings only ever looked casual on me, never smart - my legs just aren't long enough and are rather triangular! And these days, even the fashion for very long tops with leggings doesn't work for me as I have got a pad of fat/skin on the inside of my knees which makes matter look even worse!

I am not going to have PS - at age almost 60, I can't be bothered! But if I did, a tummy tuck would be first, buttock lift second (make my legs a good three inches longer!!), then my batwings and then my knee pads!

But I agree that there is enormous pleasure in picking out clothes, feeling confident they will fit!

i am also thinking no on the PS.  I would be more apt to do face stuff.  The sunken look on my face and the wrinkles are bothering more than my bat wings and the hanging flab on my tummy.

Oh I love shopping too... now that i'm a size 6/8...even better. Macy's had a one day sale and I got the cutest dress, shirt ,PJ's.... I love being able to buy clothes at a discount...before Plus size clothes were sooo expensive.

And yes I do leggings... they are soo cute. I got a pair of corduroy leggings from Nordtrom that are the bomb !! I asked the girls in the store if I could wear them... they were like Ya...!?

I better be careful not to develop a cross addiction.....!

Wash those PJ's and keep your receipt.

I bought the same ones a month or so ago and when I tried them on the bottoms were to long, but I was ok with that, better a bit long than short.  Well after I washed them, one leg shrunk like 3 inches and was to short and the other leg shrunk about 1 inch.  Totally odd!  I've bought allot of PJ's at Costco and never had a problem but just thought I'd warn you, hopefully yours don't have the same problem.

These pj's are so comfy.  You are right though I havent washed them yet. I dont want to take them off!  I am not that picky about pj's though I have been wearing mismatched way too big pj's for the past couple of years.

I was just amazed that the legs shrunk at different lengths.  I live in Michigan and there is no way I'm wearing short pants, my poor ankles would get to cold!

But your right they were really soft, and darn cute.

Trying on clothes I find is not only fabulous fun but an excellent calorie burner in a fun to exercise kind of way ... it is like exercising not even thinking or knowing one is doing it.  Over the weekend I change my clothes like 4-5 times during the day... used to do it at my biggest too ... I guess it is a dumb habit I inherited from our mom who had us dress a different outfit and change of clothes for each occassion .. now thinking back it was probably because we were some wild tomboy girls in the field and in the trees and prolly were muddy and dirty prior to every meal and HAD to change LOL.

For example on Saturday morning I dress one way to go to the gym bring a change of clothes and get dressed differently to go to the market ... shower and change again for lunch out or in.. another way to chillax in the house ...I dress another way for dinner and if I am in the mood and feel like a fancy dinner at home I will sit my old arse right in my dining room with a gown on and almost always there is somewhere to go or something formal going on with one of mine or my daughter's group and I get to wear a gown ...I like making gowns though ... you just can't go bad making a gown and then you have to find a place to wear them to LOL... My daughter is ticked at me because I used to spend all my time sewing her stuff and her friends' too and now I am like 'nope, I have no time' LOL ...

I bet you are a knockout in your leggins Rose or anything your wear for that matter ... I cannot picture your tiny self in anything else but a size small so you shouldn't be surprised at your comfie jammies LOL...

Marti - So good to see you here.  It's so funny that you wear gowns all the time. Like a princess.  You are so gifted though that you can make your own clothes.  My 10 year old daughter has gotten into sewing, we bought her a machine for her birthday.  But I am useless.  I have no idea how to sew or how to help her.. I love wearing great clothes. I need a bigger closet... I cant find most of them...
