Checking in to see how you all are doing today!  I am on a recovery diet, i am not paying any attention to fat or carb, but focussing mostly on protein, getting in 90+ grams a day. I am also focussed on getting in my vitamins and water. Next week, I will star****ching the fat and carbs again. Respond to the following questions-

Did you:
-get in 64 oz of water?
-excersize for 20-40 minutes?
-get in at least 80grams of protein?
-keep your carbs under 50grams for the day?
-take your vitamins?
-take time for yourself?

1) How many carbs did you consume yesterday?
2) How many ounces of water did you consume yesterday?
3) Did you exercise yesterday and, if so, what did you do?
4) What are you enjoying eating most these days?

7) What are you most grateful for today?

Thankyou Rosemarie!

No, I did not mention it in class, just posted it here. I was surprised it got approved so fast, with in a week. I am having it done in Fremont through Washington Hospital. My plastic surgeon said it was a 3 hour operation and I would be in recovery about three hours then I would go home. Done deal, I know i was a bit surprized by that too.

Thanks for the comments about my photos, I really should post some new ones. I will see you next session. Chime in here often!

Congratulations, Veronica, on the approval of the tummy tuck!  The fact that you have a hernia probably helped with that.  It's nice when the need to fix one problem can contribute to the approval of a desired but often considered optional/uncovered procedure.  I'm surprised that it will be outpatient surgery.  Where are you having it done?

You may have discussed this at class this morning, but I was late and missed it.  Since I just saw your post, I thought I would comment now.

Also, I just looked at your profile and pics.  I really like your Miss Tall Silicon Valley photos.... beautiful   ......and what a wonderful way to commemorate your weight loss journey!

See you next week.
Rosemarie

Hey everybody,
I was approved by my insurance for my abdominalplasty. They are going to fix a hernia as well.

JUNE 12! Coming fast! I may miss the BOT session on the 13th, but they said it was an outpatient thing, so who knows.

YEAH!

OK, thanks. I will see what i can sub for the ham.

I made the cheesy meatballs and spaghetti squash and my husb LOVED it. He wants to eat spaghetti squash 5 days a week now!

I also made tofu and asparagus. I think tofu is on the list? Nope, no tofu. darn it! But soy sauce and soy flour are on there. Hmmm, is that why soshanna isn't with us anymore? Too many foods NOT included?

I will try the stew prolly next week. See you tomorrow!
