Topic: RE: Your game plan for Thanksgiving?
My game plan was to eat a bit of everything I like -- so no stuffing as I don't like it -- but to keep the size of the entire meal down to a reasonable portion.
It worked, too.

Topic: How did you survive Halloween? Did you survive?
Checking in to see how folks did in getting through Halloween and all that candy. Any interesting observations you made about yourself this Halloween season? Please share as you might inspire others or help others see that they are not alone in a struggle or two.

Topic: article on Halloween Candy: calories and fat content
USA Today ran the following article that made me instantly think of you
all and our conversation at this month's meeting about how many calories
are in all that Halloween candy (aka, "fun size" candy):
http://www.usatoday.com/yourlife/food/diet-nutrition/2010-10-27-halloweencandy27_ST_N.htm
This article also lists fat grams, which my info didn't have. Argh, a
little Snickers bar is 80 calories and FOUR grams of fat. WTF.
I hope this info helps, especially for you that weren't able to be there
this month.
Let's stick together to help make sure that Halloween candy isn't the
start of a slippery slope to regaining or falling off the wagon this
Holiday Season.

Topic: RE: How are you doing?
Hey Kimberlee,
I'm doing alright. I'm still a frustrated at the scale not really moving. I upped my cals to 1200-1250 and bought an exercise bike for when I'm at home. I've used it only once (bought it a week ago) but I really like it. I have finally made it down to 199 lb--though the scale keeps wavering.
I have recently found a love for Bbq pork chops with Bull's Eye Carolina sauce! Omg. So delicious! As well as Fage Greek yogurt with strawberries, bananas and a little bit of splenda.
Work is ******g me off. My scedule is so erratic and we're bracing for the Mehserlee verdict any day, so I keep wondering if I'll be able to go home when my shift is over or if I'll be stuck here! Geez. I'm also working on the 17th so I won't be attending the group meeting ;(

Topic: RE: How are you doing?
I'm swinging between happy and frustrated.
I'm on this super high profile project at work and some days I come in and nothing works and I get so frustrated. Other days, I'm writing code and debugging it and all is well.
With my training for my IronMan, I still can't run so I'm frustrated (and worried), but I also just swam today 2.26 miles in 1:27 so that means my goal to swim 2.4 in 1:30 is very realistic. That made me happy.
