I love this topic and am glad you have raised it. I'll call on you to start the discussion after the intros so be prepared (and brief, smily face). I have often struggled with "feeling normal" too so I know what you mean. To me it meant not "needing" to be on a diet, not fretting about my weight, not being the largest person in the room, not having people treat or look at me differently than they would a thin person, etc. Unfortunately for me, I made the mistake of thinking I didn't need to exercise or watch what I ate, so I stopped paying attention and regained 30 pounds. I'm still working on that weight plus the pregnancy weight...ah, in due time.

Thought I would drop a line early to ask if there is a topic you would like to see discussed at our September 20th or the October meeting. Feel free to post your answers here and I'll review as we get close to the meeting date. Think of an issue that you are dealing with now that you would like to talk to with others for support or feedback.
