Yes I do have updates I have been diligently working on getting my checklist items completed. I actually have been really successful thus far. i recently completed my psych evaluation two weeks ago and had my endoscopy this week. Next week is a big week I meet with the surgeon to go over all of my items which have been completed. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. This entire process is also becoming very realistic, but definitely no apprehensions. I know with all my being that this is the right direction for me.

Thx

Topic: What do you think of our new meeting location?

If you have been to our meetings at Alameda Hospital this year let me know what you think of it.  How is the parking going for you?  Ease in finding the place, etc.  Is the time change an issue for you?

Thanks,

Kimberlee

Topic: RE: sleeping

Hi Tanya,

How bizarre that over a year later, your message here became visible to me and that it needed to be approved.  I am dumbfounded as to how this happened and apologize for the delay.  Are you still struggling with sleeping?  Please post an update.

I have had bouts of not being able to sleep and noticed that some of the things I need to do is no****ch TV so late into the night or in bed (I no longer have a TV in the bedroom), I don't look at any electronics like my iPhone as apparently that winds up the brain.  Drinking some SleepyTime type of tea just might help.  If nothing else making a nighttime ritual of slowing sipping tea might ease your brain a bit.

Not sure if you saw my previous e-mail so if not, please bring your clothes to the April 20th meeting and we'll see who is there that needs clothes in those sizes.  You never know.  I missed the March meeting so maybe you were there.  Thanks for reaching out.

Hi Kelly,

Just noticed on the system that your message was "locked" to be approved.  I've never seen that before and I apologize for not catching that sooner.  I believe your info is now visible.

If you still have the clothes, bring to our meeting this Saturday, March 16.  We meet at the Alameda Hospital now starting at 2 p.m., in Conference Room C.  Hard to predict what size of clothes people will need that are in attendance at this meeting; it always varies.  But coming to the pre-op meeting that is from 2-2:30 is probably your best bet.

You might want to consider taking your clothes to All the More to Love on Encinal in Alameda.  It's a consignment shop.  Get their consignment info.  They allow 15 items at a time but maybe she will take more.  You can take them in little by little, build up some credit and then us that credit to get you the next smaller size.
