East Bay Bariatric Support Group
How are you doing?
Hey Gang,
Our discussion board has grown really quiet. With only 150 of us, we should have a lot to talk about, so post way: how's things going, what are you up to, any struggles?
For me: I've gotten hooked on going to my local gym, Bladium, as they have some rocking group classes. My favorite is called "Body Pump." I'm already noticing a difference in my strength and arm definition (you'll see). I have a pesky 2.5 pregnancy pounds to unload and then I can start chipping away at my pre-pregnancy regained weight. All in due time.

I'm swinging between happy and frustrated.
I'm on this super high profile project at work and some days I come in and nothing works and I get so frustrated. Other days, I'm writing code and debugging it and all is well.
With my training for my IronMan, I still can't run so I'm frustrated (and worried), but I also just swam today 2.26 miles in 1:27 so that means my goal to swim 2.4 in 1:30 is very realistic. That made me happy.

Hey Kimberlee,
I'm doing alright. I'm still a frustrated at the scale not really moving. I upped my cals to 1200-1250 and bought an exercise bike for when I'm at home. I've used it only once (bought it a week ago) but I really like it. I have finally made it down to 199 lb--though the scale keeps wavering.
I have recently found a love for Bbq pork chops with Bull's Eye Carolina sauce! Omg. So delicious! As well as Fage Greek yogurt with strawberries, bananas and a little bit of splenda.
Work is ******g me off. My scedule is so erratic and we're bracing for the Mehserlee verdict any day, so I keep wondering if I'll be able to go home when my shift is over or if I'll be stuck here! Geez. I'm also working on the 17th so I won't be attending the group meeting ;(
